Mt. Emei is one of the four sacred Buddhist Mountains in China. On the mountain there are many sites of ancient Buddhist activities. Ever since the introduction of Buddhism into China in the 1st century AD, Buddhist buildings have been built on the mountain. There are more than one hundred temples and monasteries

My name is Birgit. I am German. I have been living with my family in Beijing since October 2006. We are the Eberlein family: Me, my husband Joe, my daughter Elisa (16), my son Fabian (15),my daughter Franziska (12) and our black Labrador Buddy (4).
